Ana O'Quin, LMSW, currently serves as the Advocacy and Changemaking Manager at the Girls Empowerment Network, where responsibilities include developing advocacy initiatives and overseeing a two-year policy agenda focused on girls' needs in Texas. Ana has extensive experience in mental health policy, having worked as a Policy Fellow at Girls Empowerment Network and a Pediatric Health Referrals Coordinator at Dell Medical School. Previous roles include a Policy Intern at NAMI Texas, where Ana engaged in legislative advocacy, and a Student Researcher at the Center for Public Justice, where a notable policy report on teen food insecurity was produced. Ana holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Baylor University.
