Abeer Sabz Ali is an accomplished leader and advocate for gender equity and social justice, currently serving as a Regional Leader and City Representative for Girl Up at the United Nations Foundation since August 2020. Abeer holds multiple positions, including Regional Lead for Communications at the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society, Youth Ambassador for the Golden Key International Honour Society, and Chapter President of Girl Up Mississauga. Abeer is a member of the Girl Up Alumni Network, the Canadian Council of Young Feminists, and the Association for Women's Rights in Development, actively engaging in policy research and advocacy. Abeer has also gained valuable experience as a Mentor Program Manager for the Global Ideas Institute and a Policy Advisor for Transport Canada. Abeer is pursuing a Master's in Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, having completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University.
