Joe Pennisi is currently a Board Member at GIRL SCOUTS OF NORTHERN NEW JERSEY INC. Prior to that, they were the Head of Global Infrastructure Engineering and Data at Experian Marketing Services from October 2014 to May 2016.

Joe led a team of Global technologists supporting infrastructure engineering, database architecture and administration, engineering and operations. Joe was responsible for ensuring stability across 7 data centers to execute a flawless 2014 and 2015 holiday season, including over 3.7 billion emails sent between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday at 100% reliability for 1000s of clients. Joe also successfully migrated all production equipment to new, Tier 3+ data center.

Joe introduced a streamlined automation and monitoring strategy for systems, database and network teams leveraging SolarWinds, Puppet, VMWare and other unit solutions aggregated into Splunk. Additionally, they introduced an Architecture and Compliance group within the IT organization focused on SIEM development, elimination of vulnerabilities and audit/compliance initiatives. Joe Pennisi was also responsible for the flawless execution and migration of hundreds of clients onto a new, leading edge flash Storage Area Network with minimal client impact and zero unplanned downtime.

Under Joe Pennisi's leadership, the machine uptime was increased to 99.99% and they implemented a Virtualization strategy that saved 1.2 million dollars in year one.
