Rachel Broussard is an experienced leader in youth development and non-profit management, currently serving as the CEO of Girl Scouts of Louisiana - Pines to the Gulf since January 2015. Prior to this role, Rachel held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Direct Services within the same organization from February 2009 to 2014, overseeing three departments with a significant annual budget of $1.4 million. Rachel's career includes a role as Adult Development & Membership Director at Bayou Girl Scout Council, where management responsibilities included supervising a diverse team and leading training initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions as Membership Specialist at Bayou Council Girl Scouts, Assistance Manager/Counselor at Acadiana Youth, Inc., and an Americorps program at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Rachel served in the US Army as a Corporal from 1990 to 1993 and holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
