Susan Best is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. Currently serving as the Manager of Finance and previously as a Senior Accountant at Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey since November 2011, Susan has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and management. Prior to this role, Susan held the position of Controller at The Hills Development Company from October 1985 to May 1993, where responsibilities included monthly and year-end closings, budgeting, and supervising accounting staff. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Senior Corporate Auditor at The Times Mirror Company and as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Whinney, focusing on financial audits for various sectors. Susan Best holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Marietta College, earned in 1980.
