Juan Zavala Aleman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fintech and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Pygma and Chief Strategy Officer at Girasol Payment Solutions, Juan has played a pivotal role in providing innovative technology solutions to financial institutions in the Caribbean and Latin America. As a Co-Founder of FinZi, a digital banking platform aimed at empowering Gen Z in Latin America, Juan has demonstrated a commitment to financial education and access. Additionally, Juan is an active angel investor, supporting early-stage startups across the region. Previous roles include leadership positions at Mastercard, where Juan managed business development and market presence across multiple Latin American markets. Juan holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Florida International University and a BSBA in International Business from Southeast Missouri State University.
