Casey Michielsen is an experienced Prepress Technician at Gilson Graphics in Grand Rapids, MI, since December 2018, specializing in preparing art files for digital print output and managing large-format digital graphics. Previously, Casey served as the Prepress & Production Manager at ICON Sign Company from February 2015 to December 2018, overseeing prepress, production, and installation teams, as well as designing custom projects. Casey also held the position of Graphic Arts Manager at Precise Companies, where skills included operating advanced printing equipment and managing graphic design tasks. Earlier roles involved assisting students in printmaking at Kendall College of Art and Design and providing support to the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in various capacities. Casey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Drawing with an emphasis in Printmaking from Kendall College of Art and Design, earned between 2005 and 2014.
