Rachel Sherouse is a seasoned professional in government affairs and policy, currently serving as Chief of Staff for Government Affairs & Policy at Gilead Sciences since January 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at PhRMA from September 2017 to January 2023, where Rachel held the roles of Chief of Staff for the Board of Directors & Federal Advocacy, leading board engagement and strategic integration, and Chief of Staff for Federal Advocacy, advising on planning and stakeholder engagement. Earlier career stages included positions at Amgen, from 2006 to 2017, focusing on executive engagement and federal affairs operations, as well as legislative correspondence with Senator Max Baucus from 2003 to 2006. Rachel's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Montana.
