OhKyu Yoon, PhD, MBA, currently serves as Director of Bioinformatics and Head of Oncology, Clinical Bioinformatics & Exploratory Analytics at Gilead Sciences since November 2017. In this role, OhKyu Yoon leads a team focused on biomarker and genomics data analysis from oncology clinical trials, contributing significantly to the approval of Trodelvy for metastatic breast cancer. Prior to Gilead, OhKyu Yoon worked at Amgen as a Computational Biologist, supporting drug target discovery across various therapeutic areas and co-leading the Center of Excellence in Single-Cell Genomics. OhKyu Yoon's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, along with degrees in Chemistry from Seoul National University and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
