Jeremy Tuck is a Research Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Gilead Sciences since November 2023. Prior to this role, Tuck served as a Researcher at the UC Davis Institute for Psychedelics and Neurotherapeutics from September 2022 to September 2023 and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Davis from 2018 to September 2023. During this period, Tuck focused on the synthesis of psychoplastogenic ergoline alkaloids and developed methodologies for synthesizing photoswitches. Tuck also worked as a Teaching Assistant for organic chemistry labs, as a Scientist I in Process Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Winthrop University, accumulating experience in chemical synthesis and methodology optimization. Tuck holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Davis and a BS in Chemistry from Winthrop University.
