Richard Wilmot is a seasoned professional in the healthcare investment sector, currently serving as a Partner at Gilde Healthcare since June 2023. Previous roles include Board Member positions at Eyas Medical Imaging, Orbita, and Mytonomy, as well as a senior leadership role at Philips where Richard led the Global Ventures team, overseeing a significant corporate venture capital investment program. This initiative resulted in over 45 investments focused on digital health and medical devices. Richard has also contributed academically as a Professor at Tufts University, teaching finance in the Entrepreneurial Leadership program, and has gained extensive experience in healthcare innovation and business development across various organizations throughout a robust career.
