Zohar Kanfi has extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Zohar began their career in 1987 as a Team Leader in the Israel Defense Forces. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Comverse from 1994 to 1995. Zohar then joined Gilat Satellite Networks, where they held various roles including SW Engineer, L2 Team Leader, DataCom Group Manager, and SW & SWIT Group Manager from 1996 to 2012. From 2012 onwards, Zohar Kanfi served as the Director of Commercial Development & Product Management, Director of Software Development & SWIT, R&D, Director of Software Development, QA (V&V) & SWIT, R&D, and Director of Software Development & DevOps, R&D at Gilat Satellite Networks. Additionally, they worked as a Lector at Sigma Project from 1995 to 2018.

Zohar Kanfi obtained a BSC in Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 1991 and 1995. Prior to that, between 1987 and 1990, they received training as a Senior Technician in RF from the IDF.
