Joeri Siborgs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the General Manager for Belgium at GIGA Storage since 2023. As the founder of Joesi BV, Joeri has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership since 2021. Previous roles include Head of Business Development, Deputy CEO, and Business Development Manager at re.alto energy from 2021 to 2023, as well as Maintenance Manager and Strategy Officer at Elia from 2013 to 2020, overseeing a large maintenance department and strategic alignment with the Board. Joeri founded Siborgs from 2009 to 2019, managing a company focused on energy performance certificates. Relevant internships at ABB and Humasol provided foundational engineering experience. Joeri holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from KU Leuven and a current postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management.
