Tenille Burnside currently serves as a Senior Associate in Sport & Commercial at Gibson Sheat Lawyers, focusing on advising national sports organisations, clubs, and events on commercial, governance, and dispute matters since February 2021. Prior to this role, Tenille held various positions at IMG, including Associate Legal Counsel where responsibilities encompassed sports, media, and intellectual property, with notable involvement in high-profile events like IPL and UEFA Euro 2020. Tenille also spent time as a Senior Solicitor in the Corporate Group at Russell McVeagh, managing M&A and corporate law matters, and in Banking & Finance within the same firm. Further experience includes corporate sponsorship management at The Clubhouse Ltd and finance-related secondments at Westpac New Zealand and ASB.
