Lloyd Rowat has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Lloyd currently holds the position of Principal Software Developer at Giatec | Smart Construction Solutions since July 2023. Before joining Giatec, they worked at Qlik as a Software Engineer from December 2021 to July 2023. Prior to that, Lloyd served at JSI Telecom in multiple roles, including Senior Software Developer from April 2017 to December 2021, Intermediate Software Developer from April 2014 to April 2017, and Junior Developer from February 2013 to March 2014. Lloyd started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2011 to December 2012.

Lloyd Rowat has a solid education background in computer science. Lloyd obtained a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, attending from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Lloyd also holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in February 2016.
