Annika de Hesse is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment projects and process metallurgy. Currently, Annika holds the position of Team Leader - Water Process at GHD, where responsibilities include managing projects from planning to detailed design, with noteworthy contributions to major wastewater treatment plant upgrades and advancing biosolid thermal treatment techniques. Previously, Annika served as a Plant Metallurgist at Glencore Copper, overseeing the operations of a copper concentrator, and had earlier roles as a Process Engineer at GHD and a Student Metallurgist at Glencore. Annika obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering from The University of Queensland.
