Bianca Lever-van Milligen is an experienced professional in the fields of health promotion and research methodology, currently serving as a Beleidsadviseur gezondheidsbevordering and pursuing a PhD at Hecht GGD Hollands Midden since May 2024. Prior to this role, Bianca held the position of Senior beleidsmedewerker at ZonMw from August 2022 to May 2024, where responsibilities included acting as a board advisor and monitoring internal projects. Bianca's career also includes significant experience at Amsterdam UMC as Manager of research fieldwork in the Department of Psychiatry from April 2015 to August 2022, and completing a PhD trajectory at VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam from November 2011 to November 2021. Bianca began the professional journey as a PhD student and project coordinator at GGZ inGeest/VU medical center, focusing on physical function and mental health disorders. Prior to academia, Bianca worked as a research assistant specializing in the Cesar method of physical therapy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bewegingswetenschappen from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and additional studies at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
