Suzan Rypkema is an experienced nursing professional with a focus on pediatric care and preventive health services. Since January 2009, Rypkema has worked at GGD Fryslân in various roles, including as a Verpleegkundige Nazorg Prematuren, providing care for premature infants, and as a Jeugdverpleegkundige Stevig Ouderschap, offering support to families in challenging circumstances through home visits. Additionally, Rypkema has served as a Jeugdverpleegkundige, delivering preventive, social-medical care and guidance to children and their families. Rypkema's prior experience includes membership in the Ondernemingsraad at both Veiligheidsregio Fryslân and Thuiszorg Zuidwest Friesland, along with a background in general and youth health care nursing from 1991 to 2008. Rypkema's education includes training at Hogeschool Midden Nederland and Ziekenhuis Oranjeoord Harlingen.
