Ellen L. has extensive experience in social work, with a focus on youth and community support. Currently serving as a Pedagoog at GGD Fryslân since August 2021, Ellen previously worked as a Maatschappelijk werker - Jeugd at Jij blijft jij, where support was provided to Dutch-speaking children and parents living abroad. Prior roles include school social worker positions at several organizations, including Gemeente Súdwest-Fryslân and Timpaan Welzijn, spanning from 1999 to 2019, as well as a period of exploration in America during a sabbatical. Ellen L. holds a Bachelor's degree in Maatschappelijk werk en dienstverlening from NHL Hogeschool and completed education at Friesland College.
