Andrea van der Wal currently serves as a Pedagoog at GGD Fryslân since May 2022. Prior to this role, Andrea worked at Reik from January 2014 to May 2022, holding various positions including Gezinshulpverlener, Klantadviseur, and Pedagogisch medewerker. From August 2008 to January 2014, Andrea was a Pedagogisch medewerker at Tjallinga Hiem, and earlier experience includes a position as pedagogisch medwerker at Start people Medi Intrim in 2007. Andrea holds a Post HBO degree in Intensieve Ambulante Gezinshulpverlening from NHL Hogeschool (2016-2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Stenden University (2004-2008), complemented by studies at Friesland College from 2001 to 2004.
