Hussain Abbas, CPA, CIA, CRMA, has extensive experience in internal auditing, currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit at GFH Financial Group since June 2006, holding ascending positions from Internal Audit Associate to Senior Internal Audit Director. Prior experience includes the role of Internal Audit Officer at Gulf Finance House from April 2008 to April 2010 and Internal Auditor at Bahrain Credit (Tasheelat Al Bahrain) from September 2003 to June 2006, overseeing various subsidiaries. Hussain began a professional career as an audit trainee at Ernst & Young in July 2003. Hussain holds multiple certifications, including Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified in Risk Management Assurance, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.
