Stephen Chen has extensive work experience in various roles within the business development and sales fields. Stephen started their career in 2008 as a Sales Engineer at HitachiCable Asia Pacific, where they worked until 2011. In 2012, they joined Emerson as a Key Account Manager and stayed in that position until 2017. During their time at Emerson, Stephen developed strong skills in key account management. In 2017, they moved to IMI Precision Engineering, initially as a Precision Fluid Sector Leader for the SEA region and later as the Head of Business Development. Stephen has shown consistent growth and success in their career, as evidenced by their most recent appointment as the Head of Business Development for APAC at GF Machining Solutions.

Stephen Chen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in the years 2004-2008. Stephen then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the University of Roehampton from 2022-2023. Furthermore, they hold additional certifications such as Certified Management Consultant (Management) from Coursera and Functional Safety Engineer (TUV Rheinland) from TÃœV Rheinland Group, both obtained in 2019 and 2023 respectively.
