Noemi Perez has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Tele2 Comunitel - Fonocom until 2004. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Consultant and Backend Engineer at Consultia IT. Noemi then pursued a graduate degree and worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) from 2011 to 2012, focusing on research and development of anonymity algorithms for P2P networks. In 2012, they joined Hybridars as a Software Engineer until 2015. Noemi then worked as a Software Engineer at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from 2015 to 2017, and again from 2018 to 2019. From 2017 to 2017, they served as a Senior Backend Engineer at Drukwerkdeal.nl. Noemi then joined Oetker Digital GmbH in 2019 and held the roles of Senior Full Stack Engineer from 2019 to 2020 and Team Lead Foundations from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are an Engineering Manager at GetYourGuide, starting in December 2022.

Noemi Perez completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology/Ethnology from The University of Göttingen between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from Universitat de Barcelona from 2011 to 2013.
