Milan Šťovíček has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Milan is currently working as an Engineering Manager at GetYourGuide since 2022. Before that, they held the position of VP of Engineering at Careship from 2018 to 2022. At Careship, they also served as the Head of Engineering, Principal Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer in different time periods. Prior to Careship, Milan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BuzzBird GmbH from 2018 to 2018. Milan also has experience working as a Software Engineer and Scrum Master at GFG eCommerce Technologies GmbH from 2014 to 2017 and 2015 to 2016, respectively. Milan started their career as a Freelance Web Developer and Project Manager at TRIANGL studio from 2012 to 2016. Milan also worked as a Web Developer at Česká televize, the public service broadcaster of the Czech Republic, from 2011 to 2014, and as a Drupal Developer at PLAYzone s.r.o., a Czech marketing agency, from 2008 to 2012.

Milan Šťovíček completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics from 2009-2013. Prior to this, they attended The Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Pardubice, Czech Republic, from 2004-2008, specializing in low voltage electrical engineering.
