Hannah Bennett began their work experience in 2021 as an Archives Intern at the City of Ottawa, where they conducted a project on Indigenous representation in Canadian media. Hannah collected data from newspaper articles and created a searchable database for researchers. Hannah later transitioned to the role of Archives Assistant, working in the vaults and assisting city archivists and researchers with material collection and documentation projects. In the same year, they joined Queen's University as a Teaching Assistant for the course "The Crusades and Islamophobia: Crusades to Present." In this role, they facilitated class discussions, marked assignments, and provided students with course material assistance and feedback. Prior to these roles, Hannah was a Content Editor at GetYourGuide starting in 2018.
Hannah Bennett completed their education history in a chronological order. Hannah first attended Queen's University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and a minor in Political Studies. Following that, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Applied Museum Studies at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, graduating in 2021. Finally, in 2021 and 2022, Hannah attended Queen's University again, this time for a Master's degree in History.
