Jeffrey Matzner Ed. D. serves as the Assistant Superintendent at Gettysburg Area School District since February 2023, following a lengthy tenure as Principal and Assistant Principal at Central Dauphin School District from August 2007 to February 2023. With a foundation in teaching, Jeffrey Matzner began as a 6th Grade Teacher at South Middleton School District from August 2002 to August 2007 and held similar teaching positions at Wissahickon and Chester Upland School Districts. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Superintendency and Educational System Administration from Widener University, alongside various certifications and a strong commitment to curriculum development, innovative instructional programs, and maintaining a safe school environment.
