Maya Raman has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2018. Maya began their career at Mint Pharmaceuticals as an Operations Associate in 2018. That same year, they also took on the role of Quality Intern at Teligent, Inc. In 2019, they joined Intrinsik Corp. - Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology as a Regulatory Affairs Associate & QC Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Maple (getmaple.ca) as a Senior Associate, Channel Partnerships and later as an Associate, Channel Partnerships.

Maya Raman attended (HTS) Holy Trinity School from 2002 to 2013 and obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Maya then attended Queen's University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology. In 2017, they went on to complete a one-year Ontario Graduate Certificate in Regulatory Affairs at Humber College. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in First Aid and Water Safety Instructor from the Canadian Red Cross.
