Sean Herdlein BSME, MBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Bio-Processing and Managing Director of Applikon B.V. at Getinge since December 2017, Sean has demonstrated strong regional commercial leadership with consistent growth in orders and net sales over five years. Prior roles include significant leadership positions at Applikon Biotechnology and Lancer Sales USA, Inc., as well as a Vice President role at AeroSafe Global, where strategic marketing efforts resulted in substantial company growth. With over 14 years at Getinge in various senior roles focusing on P&L responsibility, business development, and marketing within the surgical workflows and infection control domains, Sean has a proven track record in driving continuous improvement and delivering sustained revenue growth. Educational credentials include an Executive Development Program from The Wharton School and an MBA from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Alfred University.
