Ursina Vetsch is a seasoned project leader in engineering geology, currently serving at GEOTEST AG since July 2018, where responsibilities include hazard assessment for gravitational natural hazards, creation and revision of hazard maps, integration of hazard maps into land use planning, and the design of early warning systems for glacier lake outburst floods (GLOFs). Prior experience includes project-related positions in the Department of Environment and Landscape, focusing on river revitalization, flood protection structures, and biodiversity concepts, as well as supporting regional planning at the Cantonal Office for Spatial Development in Zurich. Ursina Vetsch holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Zurich, a CAS in Project Management from SGO Business School, and has additional qualifications in Forest and Landscape Management from ETH Zurich.
