Ian Drennan is an experienced professional in the field of paramedicine and resuscitation sciences. Currently serving as Part Time Faculty at Georgian College since January 2011, Ian has also held the position of Advanced Care Paramedic with York Region since July 2008. Ian's academic background includes completing a PhD(c) in Resuscitation Sciences at the University of Toronto, where research focused on the treatment of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests, critical illnesses, and the advancement of community paramedic programs. Previous roles include serving as a PhD Candidate at St. Michael's Hospital from September 2011 to November 2020, and working as a Primary Care Paramedic for the County of Simcoe from May 2008 to November 2011. Ian has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and holds several certifications in paramedicine and a BScHK in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.
