Currently retired, George served as the Director of GT Online at the Georgia Institute of Technology since April 1997, focusing on federal and state compliance for distance education, including ADA and FCC regulations. Prior to this role, George was the Director of Distance Learning at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1993 to 1997, where significant achievements included increasing grant proposal submissions by 125% and submitting $15 million annually in federal grant applications.
