Alan Cantrell is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Commissioner and Strategic Technology Innovation Officer at the Georgia Department of Human Services since March 2024, Alan also instructs cybersecurity programs at multiple prestigious institutions, including North Carolina State University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Prior experience includes serving as a Cyber Range Cloud Architect at the Georgia Cyber Center and holding cloud architect and cybersecurity instructor positions within the US Army and SAIC. Alan's foundational experience includes network engineering and systems engineering positions, including service in the United States Air Force. Alan holds a Master of Science in Cyber Security Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networks and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
