Joshua Stephens has extensive experience in economic development and government affairs, currently serving as the Director of Policy and Government Affairs for the Georgia Department of Economic Development since April 2020. Prior roles include Director of Project Management at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where Joshua facilitated economic growth in the region, and Senior Project Manager at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, responsible for statewide site selection and investment. Joshua also held positions with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia General Assembly, furthering expertise in business recruitment and legislative support. Joshua earned a B.S. in Consumer Economics and Housing Policy from The University of Georgia.
