Daniel Skahen is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, brand management, and integrated marketing communications. At the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Daniel held several prominent roles, including Interim Deputy Commissioner and Director of Marketing Services, where responsibilities included attracting new business investments and promoting tourism. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a freelance consultant, providing senior-level strategic marketing services to top-tier Atlanta agencies, as well as serving in leadership positions at companies such as The Fluid Group, Primedia, and Benihana. Daniel's academic foundation includes a Master's degree in Media Ecology from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Le Moyne College.
