Coryn Marsik has a diverse range of work experience in international relations and event management. Starting in 2010, they interned at the US Department of Homeland Security, followed by an internship at the Georgia Department of Economic Development in 2012. In this role, they assisted with marketing and communication tasks, as well as office protocol duties. From 2012 to 2018, Coryn worked at the Center for the Advancement and Study of International Education as an Events Manager, where they managed various aspects of international conferences. In 2018, they joined the World Affairs Council of Atlanta as a Program Manager, focusing on organizing programs related to global affairs. Since 2019, Coryn has been with the Georgia Department of Economic Development as a Senior International Relations Manager and now as the Director of International Investment. In these positions, they promote the state of Georgia through building relationships with foreign governments, coordinates visits and delegations, and develops communication strategies aligned with the state's priorities.
Coryn Marsik's education history includes a Master of Science degree in International Policy Management from Kennesaw State University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Marsik completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from Kennesaw State University, which was earned between 2008 and 2010.
