Byron Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and management within nonprofit organizations. Since July 2016, Byron has served as the Senior Chaplain and Division Administrator at Georgia Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries, where responsibilities have included people management, property management, program management, and strategic planning. Byron's expertise encompasses relationship development, communication, regulatory best practices, budget management, training, grant writing, and fundraising. Prior to this role, Byron co-founded KHS Development Resources, Inc., contributing as a partner for 16 years, including two years in a full-time capacity. Byron holds a Master’s Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree from Dallas Baptist University.
