Courtney A. Peterson is an accomplished executive leader and strategist with extensive experience in human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer at the Edison Electric Institute, Courtney is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University's Human Resources Management Program and a board member of the SHRM Foundation. As the founder of Lotus Leadership Coaching, Courtney provides executive coaching and HR consulting. Previous roles include Chief Human Resources & Culture Officer at Sidwell Friends School and senior positions at Spectrum Science, Fannie Mae, and the American Diabetes Association. Courtney holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh, an MS from Robert Morris University, and is pursuing further education at Georgetown University.
