Brendan M. currently serves as the Director of the Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction at the National Defense University, a position held since February 2019. In addition, Brendan holds adjunct professor roles at Georgetown University and Missouri State University. Previous experience includes Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction, Vice President at The Cohen Group, and Director for Proliferation Strategy and Counterproliferation on the White House National Security Council. Brendan also served as Assistant Director on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board and as SIO at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Early career experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and military service in the US Army. Brendan M. possesses a BA in Political Science from Providence College, education from the Defense Intelligence College, and a high school diploma from The Loomis Chaffee School.
