Rachel Iversen serves as the Assistant Director of Adventure Programs at Illinois State University since December 2014. Previously, Rachel held the position of Outdoor Programs Coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where management included bike programs, outdoor adventures, summer kayak services, and team-building initiatives. Rachel's experience also encompasses roles as a Graduate Assistant at UNCG Outdoor Adventures, a facilitator for Team Quest, and a counseling intern at Youth Focus Outpatient. Additional positions include Nature Skills Instructor with Raleigh Parks and Recreation and Field Instructor intern with Soltreks Inc. Rachel's educational background includes a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Parks Management with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
