Christian Berndt is a highly experienced academic and industry professional in the field of geophysics, currently serving as a Professor at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel since 2008. Additionally, Christian Berndt has held the position of Director at Oceansurv Ltd since 2006 and served as an Adjunct Research Fellow and Principal Geophysicist at the National Oceanography Centre until 2012. Previous roles include Senior Geophysicist at Southampton Oceanography Centre, Research Associate at the University of Tromsø, and Research Assistant at the University of Oslo.
