Luis Puig is a Research & Development staff member at Geomagical Labs since May 2017, focusing on advanced research initiatives. Prior to this role, Luis served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Washington from December 2014 to November 2016, contributing to projects in the RSE Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Dieter Fox. Luis also held a similar position at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2013 to November 2014, participating in the DARPA Robotics Challenge and developing perception algorithms for robotic systems. Earlier experiences include postdoctoral research at the University of Zaragoza and visiting scholar roles at the University of Pennsylvania and INRIA Rhône-Alpes, collaborating on various computer vision projects. Luis Puig earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Vision from Universidad de Zaragoza between 2007 and 2011.
