Louise Cross has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Louise started their career in 2006 as an Epidemiological Data Processor at Sheffield Children's Hospital. In 2009, they took on the role of Waitress at Frankie and Benny's, where they developed skills in customer care, money handling, food hygiene, health and safety, and teamwork. In 2012, Louise volunteered as a Sea Turtle Conservationist for ASVO in Costa Rica, where they patrolled the beach at night, ensured the safety of sea turtles laying their eggs, collected and relocated eggs, mapped the beach using GPS, and stored data using an open source GIS package. In 2013, they transitioned to a Data Scientist position at GEOLYTIX, working with them until 2018. At GEOLYTIX, Louise contributed as the Global Data Product Owner, demonstrating their expertise in the field and showcasing their value as a thought leader and trusted advisor.

Louise Cross completed their education at three different institutions. Louise attended Hall Cross Academy from 2001 to 2008, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that period. Louise then attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2008 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Geography.
