Anu Omogbara, PhD, has a diverse work experience in both academia and industry. In 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine, where they conducted research in their field of expertise. From 2021 to 2023, they held multiple roles at Texas Southern University, including Adjunct Faculty, Program Coordinator, and Staff Research Scientist. During this time, they gained experience in teaching, program coordination, and scientific research. Currently, Anu is working as a Business Development Manager at GenScript ProBio, a leading CDMO in Biologics, Antibodies, and Gene and Cell Therapy. In their role, they are responsible for developing business in various fields, such as Antibody Discovery, Cell & Gene Therapy, and CDMO services.
Anu Omogbara, PhD, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences at the University of Houston-Clear Lake between 2009 and 2011. Their educational journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas Medical Branch, where they studied from 2014 to 2019.
