Lawrence Bennett currently serves as Principal Engineer at Genomics England, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Lawrence had a significant tenure at Menlo Security Inc., spanning from October 2015 to October 2023, where responsibilities included positions such as Director of Engineering, Senior Principal Engineer, and Principal Engineer. Previous experience includes Senior Software Developer roles at PhotoBox and NET-A-PORTER GROUP LTD, as well as similar positions at WCN and Websense, where the role evolved to Software Development Manager. Earlier career milestones include a consultancy at Thanyon Limited and a Software Developer position at VisionOSS, where critical contributions included developing a reporting system for VoIP management. Lawrence co-founded Triometric, serving as Technical Director from April 2002 to August 2007, specializing in web analytics and performance management.
