Angela Genge has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of neurology and clinical research. Angela started their career at McGill University in 1994 as an Assistant Professor and Staff Neurologist. Over the years, they progressed to become an Associate Professor and later a Full Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery. Angela continues to serve in this capacity.

Further in their career, Angela Genge took on the role of Chief Medical Officer at QurAlis, a biotechnology company focused on neurodegenerative diseases. Angela also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Genge Partners Inc., a company they founded.

Angela Genge completed their education in a chronological order. Angela obtained their BSc in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 1982, followed by an MD from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1986. Angela then pursued further specialization in Internal Medicine and Neurology at McGill University, earning their FRCP(C) degree from there in 1992. Dr. Genge also completed a Fellowship in Neuromuscular Diseases at The Montreal Neurological Institute in 1993.
In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a license from the Corporation professionnelle des médecins du Québec in 1988. Angela also holds Board Certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Internal Medicine (obtained in 1990) and in Neurology (obtained in 1993). Dr. Angela Genge pursued further education in 2013-2015, completing an Executive MBA, International Masters in Practicing Management from Lancaster University.
