Sophie Moens is an accomplished professional with a strong background in international relations, social impact, and investment. Currently serving as an Investment Fellow at Brightmore Capital and an Executive Board Member of the Geneva Impact Investing Association, Sophie also contributed to the International Labour Organization as a Collaborate for Social Impact Team Member and was an ARP Researcher at UNCTAD, recognized for presenting at the UN World Investment Forum 2023. Previous roles include working as an Institutional Development Assistant at Jordan River Foundation and as a Student Consultant at the Network for Governance, Entrepreneurship & Development, where research focused on support for the Afghan People. Sophie has also interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands focusing on climate strategies and served as a Human Rights Defender with Global Human Rights Defence. An education background that includes a Cum Laude Master’s degree from the Geneva Graduate Institute and multiple accolades from prestigious institutions highlights Sophie’s dedication to impactful work in development and governance.
