Simon Delaney CEng is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in asset management and powerplant engineering. Currently serving as SVP Asset Management and VP Powerplant at GENESIS since March 2023, Simon has held leadership roles at SCALE Aviation DAC, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, AWAS, CHC Helicopter, Ryanair, and Boeing Commercial Airplanes. With a background that includes positions such as Powerplant and Maintenance Reserves Director and Reliability Engineer, Simon has developed a strong expertise in powerplant operations and engineering. Simon holds a B.A. & B.A.I. in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, obtained between 2004 and 2008.
