Chris Carter is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in operations and management within the retail industry. Currently serving as the Director of Store Operations at General RV Center since December 2017, Chris focuses on optimizing operational performance and driving profitability while fostering a positive work environment and developing leadership talent. Prior to this role, Chris was the Senior Director of Stores - Operations at Walmart, overseeing strategic direction and operational management for 74 stores and 20,000 associates, as well as holding various leadership roles within Walmart from 1993 to 2017, culminating in recognition as Market Director of the Year in 2009. Additionally, Chris has worked as a Franchise, Co-op & Sales Consultant since 2017, providing expertise to co-ops, franchises, and independent business owners. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Harding University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
