Alex Jones is an experienced electrical engineer currently working at Arc since September 2024, specializing in low-voltage PCB design and bring-up. Prior to this role, Alex completed an electrical engineering internship at Arc Boat Company, where responsibilities included custom PCB design, debugging, thermal testing, and wire harness design and installation. Previous experience includes positions as a hardware engineer and mechatronics engineer at ICSPI Corp., focusing on PCB design, CAD design, rapid prototyping, and product development, alongside operational duties at Swap Robotics. Alex also worked as an instructor guard for the City of Hamilton, teaching swimming and lifesaving lessons. Alex holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Waterloo, graduating in April 2024.
