Matthew Farrugia currently serves as the Head of Operations at The General Soft Drinks Co Ltd. since November 2021, previously holding the position of Operations Manager. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Foster Clark Products Ltd. as Plant Manager for UB12 and UB38 between October 2018 and December 2021. Notable earlier roles include Head of Product Development at MCL Components Ltd., and various engineering positions at Baxter International Inc., where responsibilities included the development and implementation of assembly processes. Matthew’s career began with a role in customer service as cabin crew at Airmalta and included experience as a student engineer at Hospital Mater Dei and as a sailing/windsurfing coach at Fairwind Sailing. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Brunel University London and has received various certifications in project management and quality training.
